Why
choose SAMURAI-CHALLENGE
to start your career in Mixed-Martial-Arts? There
are currently several promotions offering Charity
/ White-Collar events across the U.K. in
the sports of Boxing and Mixed-Martial-Arts.
Although at a glance, many seem to offer the exact
same format, we would like to point specific and
important differences between 'OTHER'Charity
/ White-Collar promotions
and SAMURAI-CHALLENGE
should you be in a position to choose between
a promotion to sign up and compete for.
1. A Realistic Amateur M.M.A. Experience.
'OTHER' Promotions
- have modified rules, whereby No
High-Kicks are allowed to the head.
They also have modified rules, whereby there is
No Ground-&-Pound
allowed at all! Ground-&-Pound is regarded
as the Signature move of M.M.A.
SAMURAI-CHALLENGE
believe that without
High-Kicks and
without Ground-&-Pound
a contest is not truly a 'Mixed-Martial-Arts'
contest.
Make sure you are informed about the M.M.A. rules
that you will be competing under when signing
up to any Charity
/ White-Collar promotion,
as many people are only informed of the rules
in the final days before their bout.
2. A structured Eight Week Training programme.
SAMURAI-CHALLENGE
partners with WOLF-GYM
MMA who have a structured 8 Weeks M.M.A.
training programme. This has has proven to be
very succesfull on previous events in preparing
M.M.A. fighters for Charity bouts.
Not only will the course cover all of the fundemental
/ basic skills that you will need, but the WOLF-GYM's
M.M.A. training program
will also get you fighting fit!
The training programme has been the starting point
for several Warrington fighters who have gone
on to compete at higher levels within the sport,
two of who'm are now M.M.A. Champions.
3. Career Progression - 'Unified' Amateur Rules.
'OTHER' Promotions
- only offer bouts under their limited 'modified
rules'.
At SC-M.M.A. once
fighters have competed twice as an Amateur they
may progress their M.M.A. career and compete as
a Semi-Pro fighter, ( without Shinpads and over
3 x 3 mins rounds ), with the options to possibly
challenge for SAMURAI-CHALLENGE
M.M.A.
Championship Title Belts.
